What is a Hydraulic Shearing Machine?
Hydraulic Shearing Machine is a machine that uses one blade to make a reciprocating linear motion relative to the other blade to cut the plate. By means of a moving upper blade and a fixed lower blade, a reasonable blade gap is used to apply shearing force to metal plates of various thicknesses, so that the plates can be broken and separated according to the required size. Shearing machine is a kind of forging machinery, and its main function is the metal processing industry. The products are widely used in aviation, light industry, metallurgy, chemical industry, construction, shipbuilding, automobile, electric power, electrical appliances, decoration and other industries to provide special machinery and complete sets of equipment required.

What is the classification of hydraulic shearing machine?
Hydraulic shearing machine can be Hydraulic Swing Beam Shears and Hydraulic Guillotine Shears according to the movement mode of the upper tool holder.

1.Hydraulic Swing Beam Shears:
The Hydraulic Swing Beam Shears is a Hydraulic Sheraing machine that is hydraulically driven and relies on the rotation of the tool holder to achieve the shearing process.

The composition of Hydraulic Swing Beam Shears:
Hydraulic Shearig Machine is generally composed of frame, pressing mechanism, blade gap adjustment device, tool holder, hydraulic system and other parts.
1. Rack
The frame part adopts a combined welding overall structure, which has good rigidity, and is mainly composed of left and right columns (wall panels), front wall panels, workbenches, and fuel tanks.
2. Material pressing mechanism
The material pressing mechanism is composed of a set of material pressing feet installed at the bottom of the frame beam. After the pressurized oil is passed in, the presser foot plunger presses down the steel plate. After the shearing is completed, the presser foot rises and resets depending on the spring force.
3. Blade gap adjustment device
The adjustment of the upper and lower cutting edge gap is achieved by rotating the gap adjustment handle to drive the sector gears meshed with the two pinions on the shaft, and then drive the eccentric sleeve on the supporting shaft to rotate.
4. Tool holder
The tool holder is a fully enclosed welded structural part with high torsion resistance and good rigidity. It is connected with the frame through the support shafts at both ends, and is equipped with a shearing oil cylinder and a return cylinder. The shearing cylinders are two plunger hydraulic cylinders, which are respectively fixed on the left and right uprights. At the same time, there are two cylinders for the return stroke of the tool post. When working, the pressure oil pushes the cylinder plunger to move downwards to make the tool holder downwardly shear, and at the same time compress the nitrogen in the cylinder; when returning, the hydraulic system is unloaded, and the nitrogen in the cylinder expands to make the tool holder return. The whole tool rest takes the fulcrum axis as the center to perform reciprocating motion to complete the cutting work.

working principle
Hydraulic Swing Beam Shears should be able to ensure the straightness and parallelism requirements of the shear surface of the sheared sheet after shearing, and minimize the distortion of the sheet to obtain high-quality workpieces. The upper blade of the shearing machine is fixed on the knife holder, and the lower blade is fixed on the workbench. There is a supporting ball installed on the workbench to prevent the sheet from being scratched when sliding on it. The back gauge is used for positioning the plate, and the position is adjusted by the motor. The pressing cylinder is used to compress the sheet to prevent the sheet from moving during shearing. The guardrail is a safety device to prevent work-related accidents. The return journey generally relies on nitrogen, which is fast and has little impact.

Performance and characteristics:
Compared with ordinary Hydraulic Shearig Machin, Hydraulic Swing Beam Shears mostly adopt oblique blade shearing. Because of its simple structure, low failure rate, high shearing efficiency and no bowing, warping, or distortion of the sheet after shearing, it is widely used . During the shearing process, as the tool rest rotates, the shearing angle and shearing gap of the swing shears will change. The machine is an all-steel welding mechanism, hydraulically driven, vibration relieves stress, and the machine has high strength and good rigidity. The hydraulic pendulum shearing machine adopts the main oil cylinder (fixed on the wall plate) for downward shearing movement and the return stroke of the nitrogen cylinder, so the hydraulic system is simplified and the operation is more stable. The upper tool rest of Hydraulic Swing Beam Shears swings in an arc around a fixed axis during the shearing process. Through lever action, the fulcrum is small, which can increase the life of the cutting blade and the life of the machine. The whole machine has a compact structure and can be adjusted infinitely. The stroke amount of the upper tool post greatly improves work efficiency.

2. Hydraulic guillotine shears
The hydraulic guillotine shearing machine adopts the frame structure and adopts all-steel welding; four corners and eight sides right-angle guide rails, high precision, good rigidity, and adopts hydraulic preloading. The hydraulic system adopts a two-way cartridge integrated valve; the entire system adopts; and can be equipped with stroke digital display, photoelectric protection device and mobile workbench (for easy replacement of molds). The guillotine shear has a double action of upper slide and lower hydraulic cushion. Function, the working pressure stroke can be adjusted within the specified range according to the process requirements, and the operation is simple and centralized control is adopted by the button.

The working principle of hydraulic guillotine shears:
It adopts advanced integrated hydraulic system with good reliability.
The three-point supporting rolling guide is adopted to eliminate the supporting gap and improve the cutting quality.
Motorized back gauge, manual fine-tuning, digital display; the blade gap is adjusted by the manual wheel, which is fast, accurate and convenient.
Rectangular blade, all four cutting edges can be used, and the service life is long; the cutting angle can be adjusted to reduce the distortion of the sheet.
The upper tool rest adopts an inwardly inclined structure, which is convenient for blanking and can improve the accuracy of work.

The performance and characteristics of hydraulic guillotine shears:
1. The overall welding frame structure is adopted, and after vibration aging treatment, the machine tool has good rigidity and high precision.
Good accuracy retention.
2. A three-point supporting shaft rolling guide rail is adopted, and the upper tool post rolls without gap between the rolling guide rails. The service life of the blade can be adjusted by turning the hand wheel.
3. The movable blade support and the four-edged long blade are convenient to adjust the uniformity of the blade gap, improve the cutting quality and extend the service life of the blade.
4. The tandem cylinder synchronization system is adopted, and the force of the machine tool is even. By adjusting the flow rate of the tandem cylinders, the shear angle can be easily adjusted to meet the needs of different shear plate thicknesses.
5. A motorized back gauge device and an electronic counter are used to facilitate adjustment of the position of the back gauge.

How should I choose?
1. The precision of hydraulic guillotine shears can be higher (the precision of shears, also called shear straightness), which is twice that of Hydraulic Swing Beam Shears;
2. The shear angle of hydraulic guillotine shears can be adjusted according to different plates, while the shear angle of Hydraulic Swing Beam Shears is fixed;
3. The gate-type shearing machine has 4 blade-edge surfaces, while the gate-type machine has only 2 blade-edge surfaces. In the process of use, the knife-edge surface can be replaced, and the guillotine machine has more knife-edge surfaces, and the service life is longer;
4. The guillotine shearing machine has a wider range of use and is suitable for metal sheet shearing in most ranges. Metal sheets such as stainless steel and aluminum alloy can be processed;
5. The production cost of the guillotine shearing machine is higher, and the price of the Shenpu shearing machine is more expensive. From the perspective of cost saving, if the shearing precision is very low and the thickness of the shearing plate is relatively thin (plates below 8mm) Choose to buy swing shears
6. For sheet metal processing over 8mm, guillotine shears must be selected, because the principle of pendulum shears restricts it from cutting thick plates.
